Well, its been a bit of a year really.Full of highs and lows.
Much as anyone elses I suppose.
I am debating whether or not to carry on with this blog as blogging seems to be on the wane.
I find it cathartic to post on here - its almost like a diary as I dont personally know many of my followers and I disguise my identity to prevent causing unnecessary hurt to friends and family when I feel the need to vent.
Social networking sites and Tweeting seem to be all the rage now although I have never really 'got' Twitter.
I am not going to make any New Year Resolutions as I dont feel the need to 'set a date' to change anything about my life.
Mightg see you in the New Year - might not!

Carry on blogging, I too blog - almost - anonymously, and rarely if ever mention names. I do it to get it (whatever it is) out of my system, as you say ... It's cathartic. If I didn't blog, I'm sure my blood pressure would be sky high - I don't publish everything, sometimes just writing is enough. I'm sure you'd miss it. I twitter but somehow I feel exposed and Facebook to me is scary, there's hardly anywhere left to hide.

I have just taken a quick look at your blog and I will have to put aside some time to read it more thoroughly. The 'care' issue is one I feel deeply about (as an ex-nurse and ex-care assistant)and I will deffo comment on that post.

I enjoy reading your grumps and will miss them if you decide to stop. Having said that, any activity like blogging should done for fun. If it becomes a chore, then that is the time to do something else. I wish you all the best for 2012, although in my experience, one year is much like another.

Ah, New Year Resolutions. Many years ago, I resolved not to make any. Best thing I ever did.
stick with it grumps it is nice to know you are not alone when you do comment ( ie others share and appricate your opinions but lack the skills to blog). NYR what good did they ever acheive, pure waste of time, if you are going to do it then do it dont wait for the new year I say.
Stick with it. Just blog when you feel like it. I think you'll miss it if you don't do it. xx
I have been browsing through some of my fellow bloggers blogs and realised that my life is OK compared to some. I may have had a few crap things happen lately so I am not alone in this. If I can raise a smile or even incite someone to let off steam at my opinions then thats gotta be good. (Or maybe I just like the self-indulgence of blogging) Anyhow, guess I will hang in here for a while and see what occurs. thanks everyone - encouragement much appreciated!
