How is this possible?????
Article in newspaper today: woman loses 9 stone, is now 5' 6", weighs 12 stone 2 pounds, and is a size 12!
I am 5' 4 and a half", weigh 10 stone 2 pounds, and am a size 12.
Ah but that extra 1 and a half inches she has on you really makes a difference as she is all stttrrreeeeettttcccchhheeeddd out and is really a 'long' 12 unlike your normal 12.
See, years and years of avoiding "does my bum look big?" means I can BS pretty well.
Nah - it's not really lying - just selective bending of the truth. I am usually a size 14 but can wear size 12 - comfortably mind! So I tell people I am a size 12.
Read an article about clothes sizing and it seems to happen with shoes too - the author has a size 7 shoe but had to buy shoes labelled size 9.

Shop sizes have a lot to answer for - and self-dellusion.
