Stressed? Me?

Honey is stuck in Spain
Missed her flight - twice - dont ask
No money - no fone - dont ask
British Consulate advice - get her to get into a taxi with a spanish policeman.....
You what? would you? I wouldnt!
Airport wont page her or let me speak to her
Consulate wont contact airport
She is 20
penniless
foneless
and all alone
and our consulate are about as useful as a chocolate teapot
MM paid for her to fly home tomorrow with BA -business class
Could have had a holiday with what it cost
Dont you just love MM?
I am furious with her and desperate to help her all at the same time
She will be paying us back for this (in many ways) for a long time to come
Stressed?
Me?
Whatever makes you think that????/

Kids !!! Who'd have them eh? Talking about stressed though Grump, I was down at Dumfries at my (much) younger (12 years) sister's 2 weeks ago and would you believe it experienced a TIA ?? mini stroke. At least that's what my Doc thinks.. Blood pressure finally hit the whatsit and rung the bell! Been ordered to take it easy God, If I took it more easy I would be comatose! Here's to a good MRI - when though, now that's the question hehehe... You never know the minute !

Kids as they get older it seems the more you worry. When they're little you pretty much know what they're up to.xx

it got worse - she missed that flight too - they gave out the wrong gate number and loads of them missed the flight but the airline didnt care!Spent another £500 to get her home. She fell into her brothers arms and I cried. Now I am angry - very angry, very VERY angry and want my pound of flesh for British Airlines......

...but what a great experience for her. The world is truly now her oyster and at least she came back unharmed. When I think of the times I caused my poor parents to go grey - like not thinking to ring (pre-mobile remember and bloody thoughtless) when my car broke down in the middle of nowhere on a three day journey. Couldn't understand why my mother's first reaction was to screech and cry!
I figure it's just your turn as a parent. ....and also remember what we all got up to - often lots without our parents knowing. (Tee hee)
